Find out how real chocolate is made and experience the pleasure of making your own using the finest ingredients. You’ll leave the workshop with your own handmade chocolates and the skills to make even more.
This chocolate making workshop is the perfect indulgence for any chocoholic! Your workshop begins with a brief discussion about the different types of chocolate. Afterwards, you will be entrusted with the secrets of making truffles. You will be given a choice of eight enticing flavours so you can try your hand at making your own.
Decadent and delicious, the chocolate truffle is a type of confectionery. It is traditionally made with a ganache centre coated in chocolate or cocoa powder.
Other fillings can replace the ganache such as cream, melted chocolate, caramel, nuts, almonds, berries, or other assorted sweet fruits, nougat, fudge, or toffee, mint, chocolate chips, marshmallow and popularly, liqueur but here at Icon, we’re all about the Truffle!
In this fun-filled, hands on course, learn how to make a variety of delicious truffles so that you can impress your friends and family and become the expert truffle-maker that resides within you.
As part of this course, you will also learn the accompanying techniques of piping, rolling and dipping, as well as touching on the art of tempering chocolate.

All classes & workshops are conducted ‘hands on’. No prior cooking skills are required. To ensure personal tuition our classes are kept small, from minimum of 8 to maximum of 16. For safety reason, we require all participants to wear fully enclosed, flat, non-slip shoes. Please also ensure that long hair is tied back.
