Wholesome, warming, Steak & Ale pie is the ultimate comfort food. Our chef’s reveal the secrets for making fabulous buttery crust that can be used as a base for creating an endless variety of delicious pies, quiches and tarts.

This is a perfect meal for a cold day, but even in the summer you could still add this to your picnic basket.  It’s almost a one-pot meal, but we will show you how to cook the perfect accompaniments to enjoy with your pie. Don’t worry about the taste of the beer; it gets cooked off but leaves its special flavour.

Please note

All classes & workshops are conducted ‘hands on’. No prior cooking skills are required. To ensure personal tuition our classes are kept small, from minimum of 8 to maximum of 16. For safety reason, we require all participants to wear fully enclosed, flat, non-slip shoes. Please also ensure that long hair is tied back.
