Calling all coffee lovers and aspiring home baristas. Learn the essential skills and techniques to brew the best café quality espresso at home at our Home Barista masterclass!
Our Home Barista masterclass is designed especially for the keen coffee enthusiast who wishes to gain an understanding of how to get the most out of their home coffee machine setup. You will learn both the theory and the practical.
In this fun hands-on class, you’ll learn from our experienced specialty coffee trainer on how to calibrate a grinder, and extract optimum flavour. You’ll also discover the key principles of milk texturing to create velvety silky microfoam. Along the class, you will be invited to enjoy your coffee followed by a light morning tea.
Armed with the tips and tricks from this workshop you’ll leave with the confidence to use your espresso machine like a master barista to brew a great tasting cappuccino or latte in the comfort of your own home.
Due to the nature of this class, numbers are limited to 8 people so get in quick. This is a class you do not want to miss!
This class is suitable for 16 years and over. If younger than 16 years, please contact us to discuss an appropriate class.
Please note: This is an unaccredited barista course in which participants do not receive an accredited RTO certificate upon completion. Latte art will not be covered within this workshop. We will be focusing more on the fundamentals of the perfect brew, rather than latte art.
What to Bring
Please ensure that you are wearing enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing, with long hair tied back. Aprons will be provided.
